Olive was able to spend the night the night before her birthday so that I could take her and her little brother Xander to have an early breakfast and take in an early showing of Ice Age. We went to IHOP where she ordered for herself and drew pictures of herself with her little brother. I was surprised by her massive appetite. The little girl that never eats meat (or very much for that matter) ate 2 slices of bacon some egg and 2 pancakes and then asked if we could deliver the rest of her breakfast to her step-dad at work.
I can't believe how much her hair has grown. I was beginning to think it would stay short forever. While I'd like to take her to get it styled before school starts- I think I'm loving ther natural look. She looks so cute and hip with her messy bangs.
Her birthday party is this weekend and I feel very blessed to have her with me the full weekend. I'll be picking her up tonite for our thursday visit and then friday evening for the whole weekend. Everything for the party kinda came about at the last minute. I don't know if anyone else had had issues finding My Little Pony decorations, but its been a nightmare. I was lucky enough to find a very cute design at H.E.B of all places. Im really loving their bakery lately. Designs are becoming so much more modern and they always have several ready made kid cakes that blow your mind.
I've been suffering from a bit of anxiety lately. A lot of things have been going on apart from planning a party! I recently had a job interview- who knows how that went. its a little soon to hear back it was only 2 days ago....I have my fingers crossed
We have also decided to move. More info on that later!
