We took Olive to Chuck-e-Cheese on Sunday. It was a little chaotic, but she had fun, obviously :)

Some mornings you just wanna lay in bed all day....I kind of feel like that today. Olive wants to play all night....and guess who she wants to play with?

*yawns*

I don't mind. Last night wasn't bad at least she wasn't angry. Just playful. I wish she'd get used to a normal sleeping schedule, but it doesn't seem to be happening. Up at 10....in bed by 2:30 am...3 am tops. Its crazy! Maybe she's napping too often? I doubt that! She plays all day! Her naps last about 5-10 mins!

She's getting so big. When she got those pjs for her birthay I thought, "No way those are gonna fit her now. Maybe in the fall?" Boy, was I wrong. I think she's growing out of them as we speak.

Did you see that hair? Can't seem to get it to get it neat! Sometimes, clips work...not usually.

I extremely lazy at the moment, but I gotta take advantage of these few hours that Olive is with her dad. Gotta wash bottles, clean up her playroom....do my own laundry that I haven't had a chance to do in over a week...and maybe..... just maybe finish up this book I'm reading. Sometimes, I wish I wasn't so tolerate of bad literature. I just can't help it. I'm re-reading Eclipse. *sigh*
Everytime I read it I think about Steven King's comment about Meyer. Ha. Bad writer, yes. But, not so bad that you don't fall in love with one of her characters...and when a writer can do that, you know they're doing something right, right?

Today seems better...

Olive has been doing way better. No Rash. And is within the last few days of her meds. She seems is better spirits too!

I finally got around to moving the tv back in her room. Not my tv, a less flashy one. I think my pink tv was way too exciting for her. She kept trying to knock it over. So now she has a tiny little black one. I'm kinda jealous now....her tv, while older, seems to have a less grainy view than mine :(

Oh, and she has her own vcr. YES A VCR!

When my sister and I were little we collected vhs disney classics. When I got older I left them to my sister, and now they are Olive's. Luckily, for us we still have a few working vcr's laying around the house. And all of the vhs seem to be in great working condition!

I spent Monday and Tuesday lounging in Olive's room watching so of me of my favorite disney movies...and a few non disney movies...lol. Casper! I haven't seen that in years!

Sunday was my best friend's birthday and I made her a cake...*sigh*. I'm not gonna lie. It didn't look great. It looked ok....considering it was my first time piping frosting. Still, this attempt inspired me to look into other things....hmmm.

Gonna get back to reading my book.

Plagued.

While it seemed that Olive was getting better, the strep is no longer contagious (she has all the symptoms of a cold) she now has a horrible diaper rash. I don't understand why she's been plagued by all this all at the same time...and just after a visit to the doctor's office :(

I took her back to the doctor just to be sure that what I was doing was correct, and the PA agreed, but sent us home with a few other ideas and more diaper cream....*sigh*

Its a really scary thing to see someone so small having to go through that...I dunno what I'd do if I was going through that...I think I'd be crying all day too.
