While she sleeps....

Today was Olive's follow up at the eye doctor. It was a horrible experience for us. I hope she's not traumatized. They had to dilate her eyes. After 20 mins they needed to check her, but when they tried to open her eyes she wouldn't let them. I couldn't even hold her. She struggled a lot. I wanted to cry. In the end the techs had to get a doctor to see her...and that was worse because he had another tech come in and pry her eyes open while I held her. I swear, that woman was so heavy handed! She wasn't even gentle. We have to go back in December. I'm not looking foward to it.

Monday, Monday, Monday....

Monday's we head off to therapy....Olive is doing really well, and I'm hoping she won't need it any longer. For now, she seems to enjoy the extra attention, the car ride, and getting all dolled up!

Mini Update.

I'm a big buffy fan. I just spent the last three days having a buffy marathon....Each time I watch it I am reminded of just why I love it. Its just too good. I'm on season 4 now. Watching the "Hush" episode. Creepiest episode ever....

Olive is sick with a cold. Has been all week. Her dad was sick last week and gave it to her :(
She seems in good spirits though. Her nose is runny, and as of yesterday she developed a cough. Doctor said to keep doing what I'm doing which was encouraging. More meds, though :(

Some good news, is that my baby is walking! Walking! Walking! Walking! She's been doing it a little at a time for weeks now, but as of wednesday, she's walking! Taking 4 or 5 steps at a time! I'm so excited!

I hadn't put much effort into my painting. For months now. Mostly, because I'm running low on supplies and I don't have any extra cash laying around. Its disheartening. I love painting. What I have managed, was done with what I like to call paint "leavin's". Sucks.

I'm thinking of switching to a felt project for a while. Not sure what I wanna do. Something resembling the felted objects from "The Science of Sleep". I dunno yet. I do know I have tons of felt from previous....unfinished....forgotten....projects.

Did anybody watch the Vampire Diaries this week? It wasn't half bad, I'm excited to see what happens next. I never read the books, but I plan to. I love to read. I read everything I can get my hands on.. I love vampires and witches, and wizards... werewolves too (a specific werewolf in mind though...hehe. I adore Jacob Black....)

My sister and I can't get over how the main guys in Vamp Diaries look like zac morris and rob lowe. lol.
I think I'm more excited about Jim Parson's emmy nom and Big Bang Theories new season! I can't even wait! I'm dying. I'm sucha huge Sheldon fan. I love the entire cast, though. Great ensemble. Can't wait!

I hope to post a few pics of what I've done.so far. I didn't have a computer for weeks and now that I do, I'll try to be a better blogger.
