Olive Meet Party. Party Meet Olive: Olive checking out Olive's Street

We had a total of 6 games set up for the kids to play.
-Abby Cadabby's Magic Bubbles
-Ernie's Rubber Ducky Pond
-Cookie Toss
- Big Bird Bowling
-Oscar's Ring Toss
-Zoe's Treasure Dig

I set up two baskets of prizes, the little ones that everyone got for playing, and the bigger ones they got for winning.

Olive decided to test a few before the party....all we could do was run after her and try and take her picture before she started ripping her party outfit off to get in the pool. hehe.

This one really seemed to be her favorite.
Game 1: The Abby Game was a pool of  water, bubbles and wands. The kids had to make a bubble in order to win a prize (this was a party for children under 4 so we tried to make the games as easy as possible!)

Game 2: The Ernie game was another pool of water filled with a few rubber duckies. Anyone that played got one of the little prizes, those that pulled out one of the marked rubber duckies got a larger prize.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to photograph the Cookie Toss or Big Bird Bowling, but here is a photo of the line up, you can sort of see my Giant Cookie Monster and Big Bird faces (we made these by the way using a projector, the sesamestreet.org website, and some creativity!)

Game 3: The Cookie Game was a large cut out of Cookie Monster's Face with the mouth cut out so that the kids could toss "cookies" in his mouth. The cookies were three balls. If they made all three they got a big prize, otherwise they got a small one just for playing.

Game 4: The Big Bird Game was a bowling set that I got at Walmart for $6, by the way; they had 2 chances to make a strike, same rules applied when it came to the prizes
Can you see my cookie toss?

Game 5: The Oscar game was a ring toss game, if they did it in three they got a big prize, if they didn't- well we gave them more chances, I wanted them all to walk away with at least one of the larger prizes.

Game 6: The Zoe Game consisted of a sand box and little jars I hid in the sand for them to dig up. Each jar held a little note with a number:
 1-for one prize
 2-for two prizes.

The sandbox was Olive's Birthday gift from my sister and brother in law. I think she really enjoyed it.

This is what it looked like as guest arrived.

The pool set up....

To be continued....
